Alphabet // Personal

As a designer it is essential that we are constantly looking at our surroundings; searching for inspiration and picking up on naturally occurring or accidental juxtaposition of objects which we could then use or sample in our own work to create new imagery. This could be combinations of colour, texture, scale, shape, image, type, pattern etc. I decided to create my own mixed media upper case alphabet from items in and around my surroundings. I chose to go with a photographic alphabet of items/shapes that have naturally created the letters. In addition to the poster, I also created a large upper case 3D letter to give the project a bit more of a hands on element.
